AI Camera–Based Attendance & Compliance Management

The project addressed the need to bring employee attendance and workplace-rule monitoring into a single system. Manual records, separate attendance devices, and disconnected compliance checks make it difficult to review working hours and investigate incidents consistently across locations.

B-IT delivered a cloud-based attendance and compliance management platform that integrates standard IP cameras with face recognition and rule-based AI. A web dashboard brings attendance records, employee histories, compliance rules, and reporting together for authorized administrators, HR staff, and managers.

The configurable rule engine lets administrators create, edit, activate, or disable supported compliance rules and assign them by branch, location, or camera without requiring a developer to change each rule.

Camera streams feed the AI processing layer, which synchronizes attendance and compliance events with the SaaS backend and management dashboard.

1. Enroll employees and associate their face registrations with their records.
2. Connect camera streams and assign cameras to the relevant branches and locations.
3. Configure attendance settings and supported mask or head-cap requirements for selected areas.
4. Record check-in/check-out events and capture rule violations with time and location evidence.
5. Review employee histories and export attendance and compliance reports.

• Face-recognition attendance: enrollment, automatic check-in/check-out, real-time logging, and checks against duplicate or proxy attendance.
• Attendance processing: working hours, late arrivals, early departures, absences, and daily, weekly, and monthly summaries.
• Configurable compliance: mask and head-cap detection with supported rules assigned by branch, location, or camera.
• Violation management: captured images, timestamps, camera/location tags, employee identification when the face is visible, and repeated-violation histories.
• Centralized administration: multiple locations and cameras, employee histories, and role-based access for administrators, HR, and managers.
• Reporting and data protection: attendance and compliance reports, PDF/Excel exports, encrypted facial and attendance data, and access limited to authorized roles.

The delivered platform gives teams a consolidated way to review attendance, adjust supported workplace rules, and investigate recorded violations with visual context. Centralized employee histories and exportable reports support day-to-day HR work and internal reviews across locations.
